This past weekend was a busy and exciting one for us at Debs Events as we attended a number of wedding fayres across the region. As always, these events are one of the highlights of our calendar, giving us the opportunity to meet so many newly engaged couples at the very start of their wedding planning journey.
It was genuinely lovely to meet so many new brides and grooms, hear about your proposals, your ideas, and your visions for the big day. We also had the pleasure of catching up with couples we have met before, whether at previous fayres, open days, or even those already booked in with us. Seeing familiar faces and hearing how plans are coming together is always incredibly rewarding.
Wedding fayres are not just about showcasing what we do; they are about conversations, inspiration, and building trust. We love helping couples explore colour schemes, room styling ideas, and those finishing touches that truly transform a space into something personal and memorable.
It is also always a pleasure to catch up with the friends we have made within the wedding industry. From fellow suppliers to venue teams, these events give us valuable time to reconnect, share ideas, and continue building strong working relationships that ultimately benefit our couples.
Join Us at Our Upcoming Open Day – Guide Post Hotel, Low Moor

On the day, we will be showcasing three beautifully styled rooms, each designed to inspire different wedding themes and colour palettes:
- Poppy Suite – A timeless and elegant black and white theme, perfect for couples who love classic styling with a modern edge.
- Bookcase Room – Styled in rich autumn tones, ideal for those planning a warm, romantic celebration with seasonal character.
- Spa Bar – A soft and stylish pink theme, offering a romantic and contemporary feel.
This open day is a fantastic opportunity to see the versatility of our décor, you will also have the opportunity to meet other suppliers including Baking Fairy, Down to Earth Florist and more.
